Scurte Snacks

Over the holiday break, Justin and I had the joy of traveling to northern Wisconsin to spend the week at a lodge with my parents and extended family. We did a lot of baking and tested out a couple recipes that we planned on making for our new year's eve party. One that was not completely original, but especially delicious, we appropriately named Scurte Snacks and since they were such a big hit with both our family and friends, I'm going to share the recipe with y'all. (Don't worry, they're really easy!)

Ingredients:
1 - 12 oz bag of Rolos (or you can substitute 2 - 12 oz bags of Caramel Hershey Kisses, like we did in the photos)
1 - 10 oz bag of pecan halves (one for each chocolate)
1 - 16 oz bag of Snyder's of Hanover pretzel snaps (square pretzels)

After gathering your ingredients, you need to unwrap all of the chocolate candy. Make sure you don't eat them!

Then separate the broken pecan halves from the whole halves (also avoid eating).

Line the pretzels in rows on a cookie sheet and place one chocolate on each pretzel.

Bake 2-4 minutes until the chocolate has turned shiny but still maintains its shape.

Remove from the oven and gently press one pecan on each snack.

Let them cool or refrigerate until the chocolate isn't melty anymore and enjoy!
