I found another quiz for you to take! This one, by Real Simple magazine, quizzes you on various aspects of your personal life (i.e. how you would like to spend your free time, what type of flower arrangement you prefer, etc.) to determine what color represents your personality the best. They call it What's Your Color Personality?.
After answering the mandatory questions, apparently I am an Air personality and represented by the color yellow. If you can't read the description below, Air personalities are "warmhearted, lively, and cheerful" but "can be perceived as a bit flighty, unserious".
I'm not one to categorize myself with ALL of those adjectives (ahem, flighty!?), but I wonder if you think it fits. Also, I want to know what color personality you are, please share!
As a side note, these results seem far off from HGTV's What color is your personality? quiz, which I posted about in May.

What color is your personality?
Blogged by
Jessi
It's not a secret that I love to take quizzes. Quizzes about what font matches my personality, if I can distinguish a high-end piece of furniture from a wally-world item, and, of course, what design style I am. In fact, sometimes I seek them out, but the one I'm sharing with you today I heard about in a weekly email that I received from HGTV last week, it is called What color is your personality? and promises to determine what colors suit your personality the best.
After answering the seven quick questions, I even got to answer a bonus question. Which one do you think I picked? (Hint: I just painted over my yellow half bath.)
According to HGTV and their partners on this web feature, Glidden paint, I have been officially labeled Natural and Serene.
I'm not going to lie, I don't think these results are particularly spot on, but the bit about my color personality palette does in fact consist of greens and browns. So I give it 1.5 thumbs up. What is your color personality?

What type are you?
Blogged by
Jessi
Yesterday a coworker shared with me Pentagram's season's greetings "card". A few of their creatives developed a concept centered around the question What type are you? Some people may misconstrue this as what kind of person you are, but if you know that Pentagram is a world renown design studio, you'll understand that they are actually asking What type(face) are you?
Pentagram published their "card" on a site that, after four short questions, tells you what typeface suits you the best. The language and smarmy video clips makes it cheeky and worth five minutes of your day. In order to access the quiz, you must submit your name and password, which my coworker told me is "character" (without the quotation marks).
After answering the therapist's impatient questions, it was revealed that I am New Alphabet. Not a font that I am particularly fond of, but the reasoning behind it was nearly spot-on.
(New Alphabet)
My coworker's answers to the questions typed him as Cooper Black italic, which the site explained was an easy-going, comfortable-in-your-skin font, but I'm curious to hear what type you are. So please share!

Donald Judd or cheap furniture?
Blogged by
Jessi
Do you think you have an eye for design? Take this quiz to find out if you can distinguish between a Donald Judd or a cheap piece of furniture.
I will truthfully admit that when I came across this quiz I had absolutely no idea who Donald Judd was. However, I decided that to get an accurate score, I needed to take the quiz prior to reading about him and I am proud to report that I scored 10 out of 12 correct. Warning, some of the questions are hard!
You can read all about Donald Judd thanks to handy-dandy wikipedia. But for those who want a quick synopsis of who he is, Donald Judd was a minimalist artist who created innovative pieces from the 1960s through the 1980s. He worked in many mediums including paint, sculpture, and furniture design.
So, what do you think, Donald Judd or cheap furniture? Take the quiz to find out!

Logo Love

Sure, sure you may THINK you know your corporate logos, but do you REALLY?
I stumbled across AOL's Company Logo Quiz the other day and couldn't stop myself from testing my identity smarts. Thankfully I didn't embarrass myself and am proud to report that I scored 13 out of 15. I bet you can't get a perfect score–careful, there are a few curve balls in there.
