I bought the fabric during our trip to Mill End Fabrics in Rochester, Minnesota, and I followed the tutorial on Sew Mama Sew, which was just as easy as the first time but once again very time consuming. I hate to admit it, but it took me a whole Sunday to create the long seat cushion.
As you can guess by now, a dark blue color is going to play large part in our office's color palette, but we still haven't painted yet. The past couple weekends I have intended to paint but choosing a color is proving to be extremely difficult. Though, once I've got some color on the walls, I will share some pics.
Great job! I'm very, very, very impressed for a first-timer and with that size of bottom cushion, amazing undertaking! And I'm not surprised at all that it took you an entire Sunday, those things are time sucks!

the first time around, I talked with a professional upholsterer... she recommended the foam cushion, like you used, but then wrap that in batting, for a fuller, but still very sleek look (and it's softer). That trick has done marvels for my upholstery work... just thought I'd share!
Stephanie - Ironic you say that because that is exactly what I did as well! I found the cushion alone didn't fill the pillow case as much as I liked so I wrapped batting around the foam and now it looks better but is a bit more comfy as well!
