Rain Rain Go Away

Even though the rainy season should almost be over (fingers crossed), I finally received my long-awaited birthday present, Hunter rain boots. The problem is that I can't seem to decide which color I want: pillar box red or the classic Hunter green?

Fortunately, I ordered my boots from Zappos, where they allow returns up to 365 days from your purchase date, and they pay for the shipping both ways. That convinced me to order both pairs and debate the colors in person, but I'm still undecided.

The red pair have a gloss finish compared to the Hunter original which is matte and they are striking, no one can miss me walking down the street in these babies.

But, who can go wrong with a classic? (And did I mention they're green?!)

So, I ask you all, which color should I keep?

The glossy lipstick red or the classic Hunter green?

  1. Oh, hard decision. I think I like the red. It is vibrant in a really wonderful way and it contrasts your jeans nicely. :) You should make a statement. Wait, I'm looking again and I like the classic look of the green...........

Wow, I'm not helping at all.

  2. red is dead. but green is keen!

  3. I think you will look much better in the glossy red. The red sheen is so cute! I opted for the glossy violet, but I think another pair is in order as rain or shine your will look fantastic.

  4. what color did you end up getting?

I owned the violet but the buckle broke. Hunter is replacing them but letting me switch the color if I'de like. I don't know what to do. Violet is kind of like the red, very cheery and I'm definitely noticed, but now I'm thinking a subtle navy would be nice. Although, after seeing the red on here I'm kind of liking those too. Ah so confused!

  5. Well, I'm a fiend for anything green so those are the ones I kept. Also, I had to stay true to the Hunter tradition of green. I hope you love yours as much as I love mine!
